From what I have been reading across the net, I have found that Jimmie Johnson is a very warm hearted person. Jimmie Johnson has helped raise funds to help organizations which help people. Jimmie and Chandra lost their home during the wildfires in California but were not hesitant to help others. Jimmie also loves helping children. He has been helping children and communities. He has helped to get families in need into houses in his community. Ill break down some information about the charities that Chandra and Jimmie have participated in.

The American Red Cross. He has been a member of the National Celebrity Cabinet since 2002. Teaming up with NASCAR and Lowe’s, they participated in Racing for Relief which is a per lap contributing. The Johnson's have also participated in relief efforts during Hurricane Katrina as well with California wildfires. Through others they helped to donate over $1 million.

The Jimmie Johnson Foundation has teamed up with San Diego Habitat for Humanity. They help families in need in Jimmie Johnson's hometown of El Cajon California. They are going to build 4 homes on a piece of property. If you would like to see the family selection, become a volunteer, or donate service/materials simply Click Here. You can also see a photo gallery of the first house on Foundation Lane by Clicking Here

Since Jimmie's rookie year in 2002, he has been involved with the Hendrick Marrow Program. From participation in the Celebrity Golf Classic to being the spokesperson for the NASCAR Foundation Blood and Marrow drive, Jimmie really does his part. Hate to say it, but it sounds like something that we all should be doing! During 2008 Jimmie helped to collect over 4000 pints of blood and over 4500 volunteers were added to the National Marrow Donor Program Registry. With that degree of dedication, that amount has the potential to save 17,000 lives.

Jimmie and Chandra also have served on the National Advisory Council for Make-A-Wish since 2005. Helping to grant the wish of a NASCAR race. Lucky Kids! Jimmie and wife have also started their own charity. Jimmie Johnson's Victory Lanes at Victory Junction Gang Camp provides free outdoor and camping experiences to the children with Life threatening illnesses. Many Children get to bowl their first strike here. Click here to check that out.

Most of this information I have located on the JimmieJohnsonFoundation.org website. This has turned me into the of the biggest Jimmie Johnson fans around! And this is why I have created this fan page FIRST!! Before all the others!

Jimmie Johnson was born on September 17th of 1975. He was born in El Cajon California. At age 5, Jimmie Kenneth Johson began his racing career. He started out racing in the 50cc motorcycle events. Jimmie Johnson was a pretty good motorcycle racer. At age 8 Jimmie was racing in the 60cc class. He suffered an injured knee towards the end of the season and wasn't able to race. Jimmie Johnson still took the championship that year.

From that point on Jimmie Johnson turned to 4 wheels. He raced in many different circuits and series. Including SODA, SCORE, and Mickey Thompson Entertainmant Group. He took rookie of the year in all 3 circuits. He had a substantial amount of race wins behind him at that time. 25 Wins, 100 tops 3 and 6 championships.
